Our Approach

Public sector projects demand cost-effective solutions and efficient design. Working with multiple stakeholders to achieve distinct goals while bringing a project in under budget and schedule constraints requires the ability to communicate clearly and build consensus.

WHPacific works closely with federal, state and local governments to clearly define project requirements. Our designs reflect our understanding of the communities where we work, while balancing the diverse needs of different user groups.

Federal

WHPacific is proud to support our federal clients on a variety of projects throughout the western United States as both a prime and sub consultant. We understand the stringent procurement and code regulations and have the systems in place to meet them. As a subconsultant, our prime contractor clients benefit from our minority ownership and can count our participation as small and small disadvantaged business participation.

State

From transportation projects to regional energy planning, WHPacific supports state governments in meeting their department’s project goals. We know that budget and schedule constraints often drive projects and our professionals are skilled at finding innovative ways to make sure they are met. We are familiar with states’ differing standard drawings and specifications, ensuring that our designs meet each states’ unique criteria.

Local

Municipalities, counties and boroughs in every state where we work face different challenges. As a government entity, they must meet stringent standards with transparency and deliver quality projects to their communities with limited budgets. Small local governments often do more with less, and WHPacific is there to assist with technical expertise and a focus on finding the best solution for that community. From grant writing assistance through construction inspection, our team supports our communities and delivers projects that meet the communities’ goals.
