Mike is a leader who is actively involved in professional engineering societies and in the community. He has served as President of the American Public Works Association New Mexico Chapter, both the State and Albuquerque Chapter of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies New Mexico Chapter where he further developed his leadership and strategic planning skills. Based on his experience, Mike has a unique perspective in analyzing issues, developing strategic plans and building consensus which leads to positive solutions. Mike is responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the New Mexico office and the development and execution of transportation projects while supporting the office’s other market sectors: survey, land development, water resources and facilities.

With more than 40 years of experience as a civil engineer, land surveyor, manager and mentor, including company, project and construction management, as well as design, evaluation, quality control and value engineering, he has the ability to encourage his staff to always strive to find the best solution. He has successfully led design teams of various sizes to provide effective solutions and designs that give our clients the tools to accomplish their goals. Ted’s ability to encourage and challenge our staff and his sensitivity to the needs of our clients will move to sustainable growth and success in the Washington market.

His experience includes a broad range of markets including oil and gas, mining, commercial, military, industrial, and rural development.

Travis has taken his more than 22 years of experience in the engineering field and applied that success to his office. He oversees a mixed staff of Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Project Managers, EITs, CADD Drafters and Office and Field survey Technicians. Travis leads his team by encouraging them to maintain close relationships with current clients and works to help develop new relationships locally, regionally and across the enterprise. In addition to Travis’s dedicated focus on project management and business development of the Idaho operations, he stays current with the latest surveying and mapping technology and applications. This added effort provides his clients and employees with the best service and tools to complete their projects accurately and efficiently.
