Project Description

Arizona Village is an existing subdivision on the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation consisting of roughly 2.5 miles of residential streets with curb and gutter.  The existing pavement was in poor condition and the roadway drainage did not function adequately.  The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe hired WHPacific to provide a design to reconstruct the village streets and provide drainage improvements.  This project included topographic survey and mapping; a geotechnical investigation; hydrology/hydraulic analysis and drainage improvements; detailed roadway design plans; an environmental assessment (including archaeological clearance, a biological evaluation, and a jurisdictional waters delineation); and right-of-way platting. WHPacific also prepared bidding documents for the project and provided construction support.
