WHPacific provided land use planning, environmental, and survey services for a preferred alignment and a feasibility study to construct and install a 12” natural gas transmission pipeline crossing the Willamette River. This project included setting and GPS positioning permanent horizontal and vertical control point monuments. All property, section, county and city property lines were surveyed and full right-of-way mapping was prepared for the pipeline corridor. All planimetric topographic features were identified, surveyed and mapped at one foot (1’) contour intervals for the entire nine mile-length. The project featured horizontal directional drilling for over one mile.
