WHPacific provided site civil design for a new 14-story patient care building. We developed several road realignment concepts that encompassed the local campus roadway, new hospital, and parking garage footprints.Alignment was complicated by its location over a very steep hillside. Key features:
- 300,000 square foot hospital expansion
- Environmentally sensitive site
- Innovative stormwater management system
- Relocation of major power substation
WHPacific provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying for project which developed Tram’s Lower Station, Central Tower, and Upper Station. WHPacific provided a Ropeway Survey for the 3,500 foot alignment, providing team with the control information needed to lay out the tramway design.
Major elements included coordination for utility design, site grading and coordination with local street design, stormwater quality facilities, and landscape architecture. WHPacific provided infrastructure coordination for new back bone design for dry utilities. Vault locations were coordinated with the local utility provider. Coordinated services for Lower and Upper Stations with project MEP consultant.
