WHPacific designed a dormitory expansion for the POGO Gold Mine. The facility was constructed offsite to decrease delivery time and shipped to the mine in modules for final assembly. This project included Fire Marshal permits and support for the construction company for day-to-day basic assembly and answering engineering questions at the factory and on-site. WHPacific designed this two-story work camp at the Pogo Mine. The camp was constructed of individual corridor with sleeping modules designed to be connected in the field. The modules, supported by a pre-installed foundation system, consisting of isolated concrete footings with steel columns designed to provide a permanent foundation for the camp.
