WHPacific was contracted in 2013 to finalize the site planning and civil engineering design for the site layout, grading and drainage, utility and roadway infrastructure for the new 60,000sf community center. This state of the art facility contains an indoor gymnasium, work out room, commercial and demonstration kitchens, running track, (2) indoor pools and spas, and meeting rooms. The facility has intergraded green concepts like storm water infiltration, solar parking lot lights and geothermal well pumps. Approximately construction costs of the facility are approximately $16 million.
In November 2014, the Pueblo of Santa Ana secured additional funding to finalize the design and the construction of Phase 2 of the Wellness Facility. Phase 2 consisted of the design and construction of (1) collegiate size baseball field, (1) high school softball field, skate park, playground area, covered bleachers, concession stand, scorekeeper/maintenance building and related parking and roadway infrastructure. WHPacific contract was extended to provide site planning and civil engineering design for the site layout, grading and drainage, utility and roadway infrastructure.
For both phases of the project, WHPacific has provided on-going construction administration support.
