WHPacific provided design and construction engineering services for the repair to Salmonberry River Bridge which was damaged in the December 2007 floods. Two of the five timber bridge spans at the north end were washed away. The missing spans were replaced with a single concrete span. This project required coordination with Tillamook County staff, Port of Tillamook Bay, and the property owner on the north side of the bridge. WHPacific prepared environmental documentation and permits, including a Biological Technical Memorandum, biological assessment, wetland delineation site visit, Joint Permit Application, archaeological field investigation, corridor study report, and cultural baseline report. Hydraulic and geotechnical analyses were also done. WHPacific provided bid assistance, construction administration, and construction engineering/inspection services for this repair.
