Ric Stephens’ experience spans 40 years in planning and design, creating meaningful and memorable communities in more than 35 countries. His focus is to help communities become innovative and vibrant with experiential environments that have strong sense of place. As Senior Aviation Planner, Ric provides expertise in airport land use and development, eco-industrial development, disaster preparedness and post-disaster planning, eco-industrial development, ‘smart city’ autonomous systems (including UAS), tourism development, urban resiliency, and sustainable development. He teaches planning and design at the University of Oregon, and unmanned aircraft systems at Portland Community College.
