WHPacific Tees It Up Again for the Hook, Hack & Slice Tournament

Portland, OR – Eight brave souls gathered at Claremont Golf Course this past Saturday morning to participate in the famed Hook, Hack & Slice Golf Tournament. Before teeing off we pulled names for the Two-Man Teams and we played a scramble format. As most of our initial drives found the lake on the right side of the #1 fairway….new comers quickly discovered WHY this tournament is called what it is! But there were a few very well played holes by some. The KP award was won by Brent “the shark” Walker with a great shot within 2 ½ feet of the cup. Terry “boom-boom” Song won the Long Drive on hole #9….well he was the ONLY player to place their drive in the fairway! In the end, the first place team went to Brent Walker & Jon Champlin (-1), we had to go to a “score card tie breaker” for second place which was won by Wayne Bauer & Terry Song (+3), third place was the Jesse White-Dan Boultinghouse team (+3) and coming in last place was the rusty team of Mark Hadley and Tom Jones (+4). Prizes were gift certificates to the Company store.
