Canstruction has had participants from all over the country since its beginnings in 1992. The idea was started by a group of New York Architects and Engineers who introduced Citywide Canstruction Competitions as a way to get engineering, construction, and design groups to give back.

Our Albuquerque office has been participating in this event for some time now, and this year was no exception. The office donated over 1,000 cans weighing in at 879 lbs. of canned food to the local food bank. The office was split into three groups and each group came up with their own projects. The cans were constructed into a Christmas tree, the New Mexico state flag, and a Native pot. This event kicks off WHPacific’s season of giving back!
